LA-based surrealist blues poet aja monet performs a special set in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Shambe Olweny-Pu of Opium Audia.
In town for a show at the Melbourne International Jazz Fest, aja monet performs songs from her 2026 breakout album, the colour of rain, accompanied by her outstanding US-based backing trio.
the color of rain is a compositional tour-de-force of poetry, emotion, and resonance and shifts seamlessly between jazz, soul, hip hop and rhythm and blues.
This event is sponsored by Up, Australia's #1 rated banking app.
