Sacred Cowboys storm the Triple R Performance Space for the latest edition of Live at RRR, hosted by Clara Slewa of Velvet Haze.
The notorious Melbourne crew have returned with their first album in 19 years, In The Manifesto, combining ragged rock'n'roll with rollicking cowpunk. Formed in 1982 by Garry Gray and Mark Ferrie, Sacred Cowboys built a reputation as an intense, confrontational live act with their collision of post-punk gloom and country raunch. The latest lineup brings their mutant swamp-blues sound back to the stage after decades of cult status in Naarm's underground.
