Professor Clare Delaney chairs the Humanities and Applied Sciences Human Research Ethics Committee at the University of Melbourne. She is also a clinical ethicist in the Children’s Bioethics Centre at the Royal Childrens’ Hospital, and as such deals with complex and difficult issues. Steve and Rob ask Clare to explain the concept of 'moral injury' and then delve into other ethical conundrums facing health care workers as well as members of the community during the pandemic.
