Everyone at Triple R is devastated to learn that we've lost the beautiful, funny, generous, talented, wise and truly inspirational Uncle Jack Charles.

The Boon Wurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, Woiwurrung and Yorta Yorta senior Elder had the kindest of hearts. Many of us here at the station were so very lucky to spend time with him, while he was writing his book 'Born-again Blakfella' (with Namila Benson) in the Triple R offices in 2018-19.

Uncle Jack also dropped into Triple R for countless interviews over the years. You can listen to some of those moments here.
