Come one, come all, as the iconic Reclink Community Cup returns in 2025 with a knockout lineup, a footy showdown like no other, and a heartfelt mission: raising funds for Reclink Australia, supporting disadvantaged Australians through sport, art, and social connection.

On Sunday 15 June, head down to Victoria Park. where music lovers, footy fans and community champions will gather under this year’s theme inspired by Frente’s beloved anthem, 'Ordinary Angels'.

A uniquely Melbourne mash-up of rock, rivalry and radical compassion, the Community Cup continues to prove why it's more than just a game. The infamous clash between the Rockdogs (musicians) and Megahertz (Triple R + PBS radio legends) is back—backed by a live music lineup that’s as spirited as the players.

The 2025 Line-up – A Soundtrack of Soul, Grit and Pure Aussie Spirit:

Charlie Needs Braces - Former Rockdog and now fronting her own genre-bending projects.

Cong Josie & The Hell Racers (for the kids) - The high-energy band proving rock is for all ages.

Frente - Performing the iconic 'Ordinary Angels' live, celebrating this year’s theme.

Milo Eastwood - Bringer of joy & sunshine to a dancefloor near you.

Surprise Chef & Ella Thompson - Melbourne's own jazz-funk band featuring powerful soul sensation Ella Thompson.

Spiderbait - Aussie rock icons take the stage for the second time in eight years, revving up for another blistering set.

Wrong Way Up - Dynamic duo sharing their vintage Afro-disco sound with the masses.

'This isn’t just a footy match or a festival – it’s a living, breathing example of what happens when a community shows up for each other,' said Reclink CEO Dave Wells. 'Every goal, riff, and ticket sold helps us continue delivering programs that change lives.'

Now in its 32nd year, the Community Cup is more than tradition—it’s a cultural movement. Just ask Chris Gill, host of Triple R program Get Down and co-captain of the Megahertz who’s laced up his boots for nearly two decades at the Community Cup. Or the Old Mates pub in New York, which recently reached out to proudly hang a Reclink Community Cup poster on its walls—proof that this grassroots event pulses through the veins of Aussie identity from Abbotsford all the way to the Big Apple.

This year’s 'Ordinary Angels' theme celebrates the unsung legends of community: the ones who show up, uplift others, and create joy on and off the field. That spirit will shine in every tackle, tune and team huddle throughout the day.
