Live at RRR May 2026

It's been a ripper year for Live at RRR already, and for May, we've got a huge lineup of acts joining us – you won't want to miss this!
STEPHEN CUMMINGS
Regarded as one of this country’s great story tellers, Stephen Cummings brings his much loved brand of rock’n’roll and indie pop to the Performance Space for Live at RRR on Friday 1 May. Hosted by Tim Thorpe of Vital Bits.
Introduced to audiences in the ‘70s and ‘80s through his bands The Sports and The Pellaco Brothers, Stephen has since carved out a prolific career across the decades through his solo work and as an author.
His latest EP Joy revisits songs originally recorded at various times between 1971 and 2021 by four iconic Australian acts — Spectrum, Pel Mel, Jess Ribeiro and Dag — but are reborn through Cummings’ interpretations.
LULUC
Join Luluc as they perform songs off their stunning back catalogue Live at RRR, hosted by Mon Sebire of Breakfasters on Friday 8 May.
Emerging from the Melbourne scene in the 2010s, and quickly finding international acclaim with their tender brand of sparse folk-noir and warm, crystalline harmony, Luluc combines the singing/songwriting of Zoe Randell and multi-instrumentalist Steve Hassett. They’ll be making a triumphant homecoming to the Triple R Performance Space to preview songs from their upcoming album in June – their only Australian show before returning to the USA.
EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING
Eddy Current Suppression Ring play how they want, and when they feel like it. And this time, they’re playing Live At RRR, hosted by Annaliese Redlich of Neon Sunset on Friday 22 May.
Formed in the back room of a vinyl pressing plant in Highett, since 2003 the Melbourne four-piece have built one of the most devoted cult followings in Australian music. The band channels a raw, high-voltage sound, drawing from garage rock, post-punk and proto-punk, paired with Brendan Suppression’s trademark sing speak delivery. You won’t want to miss this rare performance, Live at RRR!
KYLIE AULDIST
Arguably Naarm’s queen of soul, Kylie Auldist returns to the Triple R performance space on Friday 29 May to share tracks from her stunning new album Hybrid. Hosted by Sosefina Fuamoli of Window Seat.
Kylie Auldist has built a career on warmth, honesty and groove — and Hybrid finds her at the height of her creative powers. Slipping effortlessly between classic soul, modern R&B textures and ‘80s funk, don’t miss this chase to catch Kylie and her band in full bodied soul.
