Live at RRR July 2026

We have had an amazing year in the Triple R Performance Space so far, and we're keeping up the energy with our four incredible July acts! Joining us next month are:
VIKA & LINDA
Australian music icons Vika & Linda perform a special set in the Triple R Performance Space sharing songs from their ninth studio album, Where Do You Come From?, hosted by Tim Thorpe of Vital Bits.
This is Vika & Linda's first album of predominantly original material since 1996's Princess Tabu, having rekindled their love of songwriting through the process of writing their 2022 memoir No Bull.
Nearly four decades into their career, Vika & Linda remain one of the country's most cherished musical forces, cemented by their recent induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
STATION MODEL VIOLENCE
On Wednesday 8 July, Sydney via Melbourne underground collective Station Model Violence perform songs from their self-titled debut album (and recent Triple R Album of the Week) live in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Tim Scott of Teenage Hate.
Formed after Dan Stewart of Total Control, The UV Race and Straightjacket Nation relocated to Sydney at the end of 2022, he found new collaborators in Buz Clatworthy and Alan Gojak from R.M.F.C.. After enlisting other members from Den, Gaud, and an earlier unrealised band called KX Animal, the band's debut collection of songs started to take shape.
The sound that formed draws on motorik rock, serrated guitar lines, saxophone and keyboards, with Stewart’s gripping vocal performance tying it all together.
SOJU GANG AND FRIENDS
To celebrate NAIDOC week, DJ, designer and activist Soju Gang curates a night of music live from the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Vanessa Morris of Banksia.
Hailing from Wamba Wamba, Gunai/Kurnai, and Yorta Yorta nations, Soju Gang has forged a multidisciplinary career that is deeply committed to celebrating her culture through her music, fashion, and advocacy work.
Joining her on the night will be a range of collaborators and friends Soju has handpicked.
KRAKATAU
Melbourne/Naarm jazz fusion/prog group Krakatau perform a rare show in the Triple R Performance Space on Friday 31 July, hosted by Johnny Topper of New and Groovy.
Drawing from a deep well of influences, their recent album Terra Ignota expertly fuses contemporary jazz with a diverse spectrum of sounds, ranging from fourth world ambient arrangements to latin fusion rhythms.
This will be a rare chance to see an immersive live show from a band at the vanguard of Melbourne's fruitful instrumental scene.
