A big congrats to Geoff King, for his incredibly well deserved Order of Australia award (OAM) over the weekend for his service to broadcast media.

Geoff's involvement with the station spans nearly 50 years, as a former presenter, staff member, and chair of the board. He presented programs on-air as early as 1977, and still continues to pop up on-air as a fill-in presenter (as recently as April this year!). As a staff member, he was the very first Music Producer and Coordinator from 1978 until 1981. Geoff joined the board in 1995, and was the chair until 2023.
