Spatial, No Problem is a collaborative album between legendary dub/reggae pioneer Lee "Scratch" Perry and German electronic duo Mouse on Mars, out now on Domino Records.
Recorded in 3 days at Mouse on Mars' Paraverse Studio in Berlin in 2019, the album became Lee "Scratch" Perry's last ever official project before his passing shortly after the recording. Transcending the previous work of both artists, Spatial, No Problem places Lee "Scratch" Perry firmly at the centre of the album, with his trademark vocal delivery set over an exhilarating blend of motorik rhythms, New Orleans brass, leftfield electronics and dub production.
From the beginning of the project, Perry was adamant that the album shouldn't be another straight dub/reggae album, and the final product delivers on his promise, acting as a poignant final creative statement from an artist reinventing himself until the very end.
