The Four Scoops are a combination of unique working musicians from differing
musical heritages bound by a love of groove and song writing.

Beginning as a melting pot band of musical styles incorporating back beat Jazz and
RnB, the group has evolved to embrace 50’s to 80’s Folk, Rock and Americana.
The groups repertoire is wide and varied; from rock/roots groups like The Band to
country legend Willie Nelson and acts as diverse as The Police, Ry Cooder, Joe Jackson &
Dave Dobbin.

The band are singer & trombonist Ben Gillespie, Craig Fermanis on guitar, Jono
Brown on double bass & vocals & Mitch Thomas on Drums.

The Four Scoops band members have recorded and performed with many prominent
local and international musicians including Gotye, Lauryn Hill, Midnight Oil, Rickie Lee-
Jones, Isaac Hayes, Icehouse, Eric Burdon, Mavis Staples and The Melbourne Symphony
Orchestra. Adelaide indie band Destinezia are heading over to Melbourne for a one night show at Bar Open.
Alongside Darlington and The Satts for a stacked night of jangly guitars and feel good indie noise.

Fresh off their latest single release Faker! the group only felt it right to bring their show across to Melbourne to party on and celebrate this new era for them.
