On Friday 17 October, we're thrilled to welcome Yolngu musician Drifting Clouds aka Terry Guyula to perform Live at RRR, hosted by Vanessa Morris of Banksia.
Following the release of ‘Bawuypawuy’, one of the most impactful debut singles of recent memory, Drifting Clouds will perform a full live set of his modern adaptation of a millennia old Songline passed from generations.
Guyula pairs his first language Liyawulma’mirr-Djambarrpuyngu, with infectious balearic grooves and airy saxophones that transcend into a euphoric live performance that is not to be missed.
Triple R subscribers and First Nations people, can head to Subscriber Giveaways for more details. Giveaways open Friday 10 October.
ACCESS: If you extra access needs, please don't hesitate to contact the station at reception@rrr.org.au before the event.
For those unable to attend, you can still tune in to the performance via FM, digital, online or with the Triple R app.
This event is sponsored by Up, Australia's #1 rated banking app.
