Sidewinder is a group of Melbourne’s finest studio and jazz musicians who have collaborated to play some of the best music recorded on the Blue Note record lable. Sidewinder plays tunes by composers and musicians such as Lee Morgan, Bobby Timmons, Wayne Shorter, Art Blakey and many more. Sidewinder honours the tradition of compositions and arrangements for 3 horns and a 3 piece rhythm section to create a full “big band” sound.
