From 3-6 June, RISING and Sydney Dance Company present Love Lock and Forever & Ever.

Lock into two explosive and mesmerising works from Sydney Dance Company by Melanie Lane and Antony Hamilton.

Melanie’s work Love Lock reimagines love songs to revel in the fantasies and collective experiences of diverse cultures. With striking costumes by designer Akira Isogawa and a score by UK electronic artist Clark, it’s a dance that summons a pulsing and transfixing energy.

Forever & Ever, Antony Hamilton’s internationally acclaimed work pulses with techno, high fashion, movement and precision. Featuring a thumping score from his brother Julian (aka one half of The Presets), it’s a playground of pop culture, precision, order and chaos. Humanity glimpsed through dance-floor politics.

Love Lock and Forever & Ever are part of the inaugural Australian Dance Biennale, curated and hosted by RISING.
