Rising North Carolina indie rockers Wednesday have totally nailed the apathetic sound of everyday life in the American South. The kind of sullen, shoegazey sentiment that makes you wonder why you ever abandoned your flanno in the first place. Suburban mundanity but with a communal and approachable warmth.

2023 was a massive year for the five piece. Their LP Rat Saw God had Stereogum predicting they “might end up as the greatest indie band of their generation”. BMF is betting they’re right.

Wednesday will envelop Estonian House on Wednesday 6 March, with support from local legends, Delivery.
