Secret Love is the third album from south London four-piece Dry Cleaning, out now via 4AD/Remote Control.

Produced by fellow musician and in-demand producer Cate Le Bon and recorded over evolving sessions in Chicago, Dublin and France, Secret Love cements the band as modern torchbearers of sprechgesang inflected art rock, breathing new life into the form.

Secret Love showcases a more expansive sound for the band, seamlessly adding pastoral folk, stoner riffs and textural soundscapes to their arsenal, subverting expectations for the band while at the same time refining their distinctive identity.

As ever, frontperson Florence Shaw's surrealist spoken word vocals are the throughline across the album, excavating hooks from the unlikeliest of places, and sharpening her melodic sensibilities to reveal a more tender side to her vocal delivery and songwriting.

Secret Love is the result of a band built on the musical alchemy of close friends and collaborators, that is only strengthened through the considered selection of Cate Le Bon as producer, whose shared artistic sensibility and careful guidance enriches the final product.
