Bayley Turner is the founder of Creative Consent, which specialises in providing intimacy coordination and consent-based practices for the creative industries.

She joined Samira for an in-depth conversation about the importance of taking a consent-first approach in creative practices and how it can empower both performers and audiences.

“It’s unfortunate that we live in a society where the word consent has been really conflated with its opposites…. It should be a word that we’re thrilled to hear… that makes us happy but because it speaks to so many power structures and the creative industry is not free from being impacted by [these power structures]… that word can make a few people uncomfortable’.
