A year since it was put on ice, Heavy Congress is going to make its debut at RISING 2022. And Systa BB is pretty damn excited.

On Saturday, June 4 at The Forum, 10 crews – made up of DJs, MCs and live performing artists ­– will wield colossal custom speaker stacks, bombarding the audience with bass, in a bid for the crowd’s seal of approval.

To get us in the mood, Systa BB plays a track from all 10 Soundsystems - including the exclusive single ‘Rising Riddim’ of which 200 copies have been pressed especially for the night.

“It’s all so very very different,” she says of the selection. “And to know we’re going to hear the glory of all that difference across 10 systems.. is something that has never been done in Australia before.”
