The Golden Age of Piracy: The Formative Five of Owen Williams from The Tubs
Tristen Harris is joined by Owen Williams, singer for London-based indie band The Tubs this week on The Golden Age of Piracy. They've just released their second album with Cotton Crown, a very personal record for Williams and one that showcases their fast-paced jangle in the heighth of their powers.
Williams also co-fronts Ex-Vöid alongside his old Joanna Gruesome bandmate Lan McArdle, and is a key member of the larger London collective known as "Gob Nation" where bandmates are shared across dozens of acts.
Listen below to hear Williams discuss his formative influences, and how they've shaped his approach to music.
Cotton Crown by The Tubs was released on March 27 through Trouble in Mind.
