Down Pat is joined by Lawrence English to chat about his upcoming shows with Tokyo-based artist Merzbow.

Lawrence English reminiscences on how he started out in music - by running a fan zine from year 10 maths class! He takes us through his inspirations, latest obsessions and even some Bamboo scaffolding he saw in China. Excited to perform with Merzbow, Lawrence believes music is about more than just loud noise, and is a full body, physical experience.

Lawrence English and Merzog will be performing on 28 February 28 and 1 March at The Substation in Newport.
