Long-time friends and collaborators Mia Schoen and Marc Regueiro-McKelvie have been making music and collaborating together for years across multiple bands and projects.

Their band New Estate has been producing scrappy beloved pop music for over a decade, with their latest album 5 due out in July.

Ever prolific, they’ve also started releasing music as a duo, under the moniker Blueprints.

They joined Down Pat on O’ Tomorrow for a freeform convo about their long-lasting friendship, making music together, and the return of CDs.

Blueprints launch Celestial Spheres on Friday 9 June & New Estate play on Saturday 10 June at the Brunswick Artists Bar.
