Wadjanbarra, Yidinji, Jirrbal and African-American woman Sasha Kutabah Sarago joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to discuss their new reflective book Gigorou: It's time to reclaim beauty. First Nations wisdom and womanhood.

Sasha spoke about her experience writing the book that captures experiences and moments growing up that sparked a strong determination for her career as a speaker and writer, and working in the fashion industry as a model.

Vanessa and Sasha also discussed TEDx talk The (de)colonising of beauty which highlights her experience of being told ‘You’re too pretty to be Aboriginal’ from a young age and the response it has recieve - including over 1.6 million views online.
