Diving into the subterranean, we follow the unfolding of labels ‘trip-hop, r&b, soul, jazz, dance music as they are reconstructed at an atomic level. We find in collaboration, the expansion of these tenets of music, into something greater in the sum of its many pieces and threads. Heralded by the voices of the evolving African Diaspora, we follow loosely, lineages of its sound as embodied by many black artists from across the globe.
