In Light of Recent Events is the surprise fifth album from legendary Naarm/Melbourne band Eddy Current Suppression Ring, out now on Suppression Records.

Developed through weekly jams in their practice space, the record arrives off the back of a string of electrifying live shows around the country, including an intimate gig in the Triple R Performance Space (which in fact, is where this very album was first announced)!

True to their sound, the record maintains a simmering tension that reflects the anxiety of the times, with Brendan Suppression's cathartic vocal delivery offering an emotional reprieve at key moments throughout.
