Formed in 1984, Dinosaur Jr. are acclaimed for their distinctive style of heavy punk- pop rock music, characterised by high volumes and extensive use of feedback and distortion (the European edition of Farm has actually been recalled for being too loud!). Farm is the fifth studio album from the original Donosaur Jr. line-up, and their second since the succesful reunion album Beyond in 2007. Critically acclaimed for the energy and economy of its well-crafted songs, Farm demonstrates that the band remain a vital force in modern rock.
