So the AFL got in touch with us a while back, needing a rock band with a long history and a decent following to play their 'One Day in September'. "Wouldn't be a problem if the band had already played their 'last ever show'" they said, adding "we've booked heaps of bands that have done this in the past, you can still get away with the odd show/tour".

When they told us we wouldn't be able to plug into amplifiers or do live vocals, we had to respectfully decline. "Get fucked" we retorted, "we would prefer to play a smaller, more intimate venue with better sound anyway, and avoid being mime shamed a la Milli Vanilli in 1989"!!!

And so Wicked City will reform for a one off show, their first (and last ever show) since their 'Final Show Ever' back in 2021. Patto will travel back across the Tasman, brush up on a few of the old numbers and finally collect his amp from his repair guy (sorry Barry). He is very very excited to play riffs with his best mates again.

Joining us on the night will be the incredible Sons Of the Ionian Sea who played our 'Final Show Ever' back in 2021.
