The eagerly awaited debut release from Wasteman drops January 9th. ‘Belgrave’ is an energetic folk-punk singalong with plenty of heart. Wasteman is excited to be able to share this with you on a dynamically unbelievable night at the Leadbeater Hotel.

This groundswell following is eagerly awaiting January 9th for Wasteman’s upcoming debut release which has been teased at live shows as well as on their instagram. Two of the crowd favourite songs are soon to hit Triple J Unearthed and streaming platforms. These singles have been mixed and mastered by Ed Hawke (Juliet Sunflower) and Jacob Munnery (The Smith Street Band) respectively.

Listeners can expect poignant lyricism, powerful vocals and expertly crafted instrumentation which culminate in immensely cathartic music. These singles are reminiscent of Alex Lahey’s witty introspection, The Smith St Band’s dynamism or the emotional range of Ball Park Music. This indie-punk soundtrack is as hard-hitting as it is heartfelt.
