That might be because for every ticket sold to this show The Espy will donate $1 to Support Act in celebration of AusMusic T-Shirt Day. Wanna donate more? Good on you! Head over to AusMusic Tshirt Day.
This AusMusic T-shirt Day, we're putting on one-helluva show to raise awareness and much needed funds for Support Act. Australia’s most electrifying punk band, WAAX will be bringing their intensely captivating, barely-controlled chaos, to the Gershwin Room stage. Early singles, ‘I For An Eye’ and ‘Wisdom Teeth,’ were fresh and fiercely ambitious, with vocalist Maz De Vita’s unbridled passion and seductively melodic flow full of hooks.
Joining in on the fun, post-punk outfit PINCH POINTS play clean, angular guitar harmonies, heavy mechanical riffs, belting-out group-vocals, all at a turbo-punk speed!
Last, but certainly not least, GIRL GERMS are a trio of hot, hot chiko roles who hail from the cultural deep fryer that is the city of Melbourne. A tad sweet and very salty, they bring with them their own brand of self-described "pussy punk power".
Burn In Hell have wreaked havoc throughout Australia and France in the last two years, sating an abundant appetite for their sensual, grinding rhythms and gravelly vocals. Pirate music it ain’t, though some timbers are shivered and sails are hoisted, a more apt portrayal may be a stygian primordial belch, the type of music the devil would relish had he a lust for dance, a lyrical ear, a penchant for sardonic wit and a drum beat his minions would weep for. Think swampy cabaret with a gypsy attitude, dirty gutbucket blues and call and respond field hollers. Then think again…
