VEHL celebrate the release of their debut album 'Panthalassa' with a Vinyl LP Launch Party at the
Bergy Bandroom on Friday 23 February.

VEHL is the new art-soul project from Matty Vehl (keyboardist with Bombay Royale/Cool
Explosions). Written, arranged and produced by Matty Vehl, the launch party will feature the band
line up assembled for the record, including the full, smouldering 4 piece saxophone section.
With a sound that slides between 1970’s analogue grooves, vintage snake-oil R&B and a pulsing,
new millennia mesmerism, VEHL glints and glimmers as steady as a VR roller-disco mirrorball.

Support comes from the deliriously easy rollin’ instrumental groove mavericks Marcel Borrack
TD Band, and a rare performance from The Sugarfed Leopards very own sweethearts Steph and
Dave, aka Sunday Darling. DJ sets from PBS Headhunters host DJ Friday (Headhunters PBS), with limited
edition vinyl copies, t-shirts and badges of the Panthalassa album available on the night.
