Teaming up with ANTI FADE Records and Triple R, Best Served Loud will have the honour of hosting UV Race, Hierophants, R.M.F.C., Parsnip + Green Child DJs on stage for a rapturous long weekend kickoff.

Young Henrys’ Best Served Loud will return to Melbourne, where the gig series first debuted back in 2019, passing the mic to some of the country’s most exciting and emerging live acts. Together with local independent label, ANTI FADE Records, the brains behind some of Melbourne’s leading punk outfits, Best Served Loud Melbourne is headlined by Naarm/Melbourne-born band, UV Race. Combining catchy pop and first-wave punk’s grit and glitter, UV Race draws their inspiration from household rock names including Bad Religion, Ramones and New York Dolls. Next on the billing schedule is fellow Victorians, new-wave nonconformists Hierophants. Ready to dish out their DIY psychedelia to fans, Hierophants have been exciting the nation with their herky punk rock and pop smarts.

Labelled as tomorrow’s prodigies in rock’n’roll, R.M.F.C. the brainchild of the prodigious Buz Avenue- child genius, famous teen millionaire - and his band: Mike V, BJ Kettle and Grace Lee performing songs for you on the stage.

Also joining Friday’s mega lineup is Parsnip. Best known for their garage rock and indie-pop melting pot sound, the quartet have earned themselves an A+ reputation with releases including a self-titled EP, their debut When The Trees Bear Fruit LP, and most recent EP, Adding Up. Geared to light up the dancefloor of Max Watts, fans will not be disappointed by the all-star four-piece.

Opening the night, and playing throughout will be Green Child DJs aka Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring / Total Control) and Raven Mahon, who will spin a set full of punk and rock’n’roll.

A brand synonymous with bringing music lovers together and ‘serving the people’, Young Henrys' Best Served Loud series is here to champion emerging and established acts from across the country. From pop, rock, to punk, Young Henrys is committed to bringing the best free parties to some of Australia’s best-loved live music venues.
