Rose Bray

Emerging artist Rosie Bray is a student of Jazz Vocal Performance at Monash University, having transferred from the Australian National University earlier this year. Crossing state lines, Rosie has performed gigs at Smiths Alternative, Canberra and the Brunswick Green, Melbourne. Here, she has engaged in solo and duo acts, making beautiful jazz-infused music with her friends and of course, the beautiful memories that come with it. She has worked professionally as a choral director and voice teacher in Canberra. In 2022 she was asked to perform as an improvisational artist at the National Gallery of Australia for “In Harmonia Progressio” by Duto Hardono. Within her degree, she has performed numerous times in Monash Lunchtime Concerts with some fantastic collaborators, including Coco’s Lunch, and Michelle Nicolle, her current vocal teacher. Since moving to Melbourne in January 2024, Rosie has continued with her studies, both on- and off-campus, and if you’re lucky you may get to see her behind the bar at Jazzlab!
