Melbourne country-soul, singer songwriter Roz Girvan(vocal, piano, guitar) is teaming up with partner Greg Field (fiddle, mandolin, guitar, vocal) to interpret their favourites from the ‘70’s, ‘golden era’ of Jackson Browne. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Bruce Springsteen and into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Jackson Browne’s songs were described by Rolling Stone as "...open-ended poetry (which) achieves power from the nearly religious intensity”. The performance will be a nod to the musical partnership of Browne and David Lindley – the genius multi-instrumentalist whose musical signature elevates many of Browne’s recordings.
