Raised on the tired Mid North Coast of NSW and spending her adult life trying to experience anything else, Tilly O'Brien has sung her way on by and gathered inspiration in the most unlikely of places. Her first release “old brass saxophone” was recorded while living 4 feet beneath the breadline and hiding out in a series of one horse towns in Portugal while the single “Shape of Your Shell” opened forth almost as an accident in the dingy haze of a Flemington bedroom lockdown mania. Based in Naarm/Melbourne Tilly is playing with her new band.
