Wasteman is a homegrown Aussie band coming fresh out of Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Packing in a crowd at Melbourne’s highly acclaimed The Leadbeater Hotel, Wasteman's recent debut headliner gig was a huge success. They say "it ain't over till the fat lady sings"... but in Wasteman's case, it ain't over till the crowd's chants of "ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!" were answered!

Wasteman are on the warpath for bringing their music to the Wastemaners of suburbia and rise up from the underbelly of Melbourne’s music realm. These four young bucks are a talented and dedicated group of musicians, backed by years of tuition and experience in the music industry. Through front-woman Charlotte Glover’s cutting-edge vocals; Glen Davidson’s leading bass lines; Bill Foster’s multidimensional drumming configurations; and lead guitarist Patrick Quinlan’s graceful melodies, Wasteman wears their heart on their sleeve, reaching out to their audience and offering up catharsis through music. Working tirelessly from their studio homebase, their singles, Good Friends, and Belgrave, are soon to debut from the crew’s song-making furnace.

Drawing influence from artists like Alex Lahey and The Smith Street Band, their original compositions tackle a myriad of themes, ranging from heartfelt lyrics on mental health and hedonism, to freaky-deaky boardgames! Together the crew are “a four-piece outfit tailored from … indie-pop, punk rock, and a sprinkle of [jazz]”.
