The Sweet Souls are a Naarm-based band playing blues, funk and soul classics by timeless artists such as BB King, Al Green, Ann Peebles and more - you might even catch us throwing an original number in there from time to time! We feature a rotating cast of the city's finest players and centre our shows around the vocals and guitar of USA-born Oscar LaDell!

Me In A Dream is the 4-piece indie-rock band from Naarm (Melbourne), comprising of front man Chris Pehrson on guitar and lead vocals, Rosie Stone Valentine on bass and backing vocals, Michael Cathie on drums and Liz Bandara on keys.

Drawing on influences from the Brit alt-rock scene, including FoalsDovesWhite Lies and Bloc Party, then injecting thoughtful melodies and an occasional, but distinctly Australian psychedelic edge reminiscent of Holy Holy and The Belligerents, finally stirring a healthy dose of electronic textures, Me In A Dream carves out a unique sound that dances freely across genre boundaries.

Don’t miss this evening of live music as Me In A Dream perform their tried and tested favourites, including single, Hideaway, as well as fresh new material.

Me In A Dream will be supported by the gorgeous Amanduh. A natural born storyteller, Amanduh intertwines delicate lyrics and gut punching melodies to create infectious tunes that leave an impact. Amanduh has been described as ‘emotive, heartfelt and nostalgic’ with her song writing, creating an odyssey of emotion and passion in which those listening get lost in. With a warm and unique voice, Amanduh can integrate vulnerable moments of the human experience and create effortless pop, which is both comforting and fresh.
