After a blowout debut back in March, The Skabhangers are returning to Tanswells!

Taking inspiration from the sound of 1960s Jamaican ska and early rocksteady, the Skabhangers are a Naarm/Melbourne-based act gaining a reputation for their dynamic live shows. Their self-produced debut album was released in January 2023, and has received airplay locally and overseas. In September 2024 the Skabhangers undertook a successful tour through NSW to QLD, and in December played once again at the Jamaican Music & Food Festival.

The performers wish to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land and water this show takes place on, and pay respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
