Blending genres from Latino jazz to indie pop and folk, Rubita is led by electric guitarist and singer-songwriter Rachel Kibblewhite. Since graduating in 2015 as the first female electric guitarist from Otago University (NZ), Rubita has been melting hearts with her music at festivals and venues across her home country of Aotearoa, and across her new home of Naarm. She’ll be joined by her incredible band of Henry Smithers on bass guitar, Christian Silva on percussion, and Matt Millsom on drums.
