The Pleasures will unleash a swag of new music delivered with the signature grit the band is becoming known for from March 2023 as they get out on the road to support their forthcoming album.
They have already been announced for several festivals in March 2023 alongside two feature shows, one of which happens on Thursday, 16th March at the Stag and Hunter in Newcastle. This will be The Pleasures only Newcastle show.
As two of Australia’s most loved and respected country and Americana artists, the union between Catherine Britt and Lachlan Bryan, was always destined to turn heads. To kick things into gear in 2022, they released their first single and video, 'The Beginning of the End’. The catchy as-hell debut track quickly lit up YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, as well as scoring high rotation on radio including, Double J, ABC Country, ABC Local, 2SER, and iHeart Country. Add to that the support of CMT in Australia and the USA, and airplay on many programs in Australia and the UK (including shows across the BBC) and it was clear The Pleasures had arrived!
Follow-up single, 'Every Story has Two Sides', a fearsome, passion-fueled duet, was released in September. Radio came calling again, both in Australia and overseas. The duo (with full band behind them) took their live show to Nashville, Sydney, Melbourne, and a handful of regional destinations. Josh Lesson from the Newcastle Herald noted The Pleasures as one his highlights of the Dashville Skyline Festival in NSW.
