The Offtopics play funky original Rhythm and Blues to make you laugh, dance and clap your hands. The band has released vinyl singles and an EP, a live CD and most recently “Tomorrow Is A Month Away” an epic 16 song album released on vinyl, CD and all streaming platforms. They have performed at 3PBS’ famous “Live in Studio 5”. During the 2020 lockdown they staged an experimental remote concert streamed live via Zoom. In late 2022 the band embarked on a short tour of India before returning to Australia to back Kylie Auldist for a Christmas carols show in front of 8000 people. Fronted by a Bengali-Australian funk dynamo, The Offtopics includes a quirky cast of musicians who’ve played with artists such as The Ska Vendors, The Oxo-Cubans, The Deans of Soul, The Bombay Royale, The Short Order Schefs and Kutcha Edwards and more.
