The Hornets have been a mainstay of Melbourne and Australia’s blues and roots scene for two and a half decades. To celebrate their silver anniversary, The Hornets will launch their brand new album 'Lowdown in Lockdown' with songs like 'Nothing Stays the Same' and the stunning gospel fuelled 'Distracted by Distractions' that captures the blues and boredom of musicians being trapped at home and denied the stage for 18 months. Rowdy opener 'I Ain’t Drunk (Just Drinking)', is soaked in the relief and release of winning freedom.
