Paige's nostalgic and personal debut offering 'Forget You' weaves its way between hurt and healing, beckoning listeners to remember their greatest heartbreak. ‘Forget You’ was written in the stillness and solitude following the end of a long distance relationship. Recorded at Bernard Fanning and Nick DiDia’s La Cueva studio in Byron Bay, with production by George Carpenter (Ash Grunwald, Little Georgia) and Ian Peres (Amy Shark, Wolfmother) earthy strings swell underneath a bold piano backing, bursting into choruses of resolve and compromise, as Paige grapples with what is being left behind and what is still to come. Paige is hitting the Gaso stage with her amazing band to celebrate the release and has special guests Ailsa & Mantell opening the night. Hailing from Melbourne's Yarra Valley, Paige has spent the last decade honing her craft as a songwriter, ‘bringing heart wrenching honesty and bold piano pop to audiences through unmistakable presence and vocal passion. Likened to the reverential and timeless songwriting voices of Adele and Fleetwood Mac, Paige continues to explore storytelling avenues and capture moments for audiences with the authenticity of Missy Higgins or sincerity of Carole King.
