The Droptails are a collection of musicians whose history dates back to the Melbourne indie rock scene of the late '80s, coupled with some new talent. The band's first album, released in May 2024, explored the trials and tribulations of Melbourne’s denizens during extended covid confinement. The Droptails second album (Through Road), released in early 2026, explores a broader range of emotions and topics of interest, delivered with an enhanced signature indie rock alt/country sound.
