The Calabrians
Melbourne's newest hard rock band The Calabrians are keen to show what they’ve got. Co founder Pip Pupillo has spent the last 35+ years fronting veteran Alt country/rock band The T-bones, but decided at age 56 to start a hard rock band with his old buddy Baz Valance. Valance is a slick guitarist with a metal background and Pupillo says the combination of his rough style with the slickness of Valance has produced something special. Influences range from AC/DC to the Sunnyboys to Radiobirdman and REM and their sound posses that uniquely Australian hard rock edge. The Calabrians are here.

CIRCUIT BREAKER is a high octane, Japanese style fusion band, inspired by artists who shaped many classic game soundtracks - artists like Casiopea and T-Square, composers like Koji Kondo and Yoko Shimomura. They are racing into the Melbourne music scene, featuring the talents of:
Sam Spicer - Ewi
Max Peace - Keytar
Xander Barbosa - Guitar
David Ritlewski - Drums
Circuit Breaker made their live debut this year, proudly supporting alternative hip-hop artist Isagani’s debut headline show at Shotkickers.
Their original music fuses serious chops with serious fun, a love letter to the soundtracks of the games that raised them.
With more shows on the horizon - including a show at PAX Australia Oct 12, Circuit Breaker is preparing to bring their joyful, turbocharged fusion to even bigger stages.
