The Wandering Room invites you to celebrate the eleventh instalment in our ‘Paired’ exhibition series.
The body holds itself brings together the work of Naarm/Melbourne-based artists Anna Dunnill and Rie Delange to explore material ideas of fragility, embodiment and accumulation.
'The body holds itself' brings together the work of Naarm/Melbourne-based artists Anna Dunnill and Rie Delange to explore material ideas of fragility, embodiment and accumulation. In examining relationships between the body and materials, the exhibition also looks at the way that personal experiences can be metabolised and metamorphosed through art practice and the physical process of making.
'Paired' is a series of curated exhibitions pairing two Naarm / Melbourne based artists. The paired practitioners may choose to collaborate in some way or simply exhibit side by side.
