The well-travelled Tchaikovsky pays homage to Italy and its many beauties in the invigorating Souvenir de Florence. Purcell’s immortal Dido’s Lament takes on a cool, jazz vibe in Joe Chindamo’s stylish arrangement. The concert opens with Laceless, a new work by young Hobart composer Saxon Hornett.
