The T-bones
The T Bones are back down at Bar303 with a few new songs we’ve been working on as well as the old faves. Supporting brand new act, The Calabrians, The T- bones put their fine song writing and performing on display. Spanning the great rural/urban divide…songs of heartbreak & isolation, lost love, footy teams that never win and cars that just won’t start…You know what you have to do… get em on, get down there and get going!!
The Calabrians
Melbournes rock scene is about to be infiltrated by The Calabrians. . Playing their debut gig at Bar 303, Melbourne's newest hard rock band The Calabrians are keen to show what they’ve got. Co founder Pip Pupillo has spent the last 35+ years fronting veteran Alt country/rock band The T-bones, but decided at age 56 to start a hard rock band with his old buddy Baz Valance. Valance is a slick guitarist with a metal background and Pupillo says the combination of his rough style with the slickness of Valance has produced something special. Influences range from AC/DC to the Sunnyboys to Radiobirdman and REM and their sound posses that uniquely Australian hard rock edge. The Calabrians are here.
