Ania produces and performs all original music under the alter-ego Synthotronica. Her debut solo album UFORIK was released in 2019, combining lush soundscapes with driving beats, heavy bass and screaming leads to create an album of evocative cinematic electronica.

Ashwash heads west for it's fifth edition and second ever event in Melbourne/Naarm with Ashwash Kindred - Grand Final Public Holiday Eve on Thursday the 25th of September.

After a busy 13 months with Ashwash London & The Wash That Never Happened (iykyk), the stage is set for the biggest (and best) one yet. For this wash, Ashwash will bring a night of connection and dance to Footscray in the beautiful Kindred Studios.

Ashwash brings some local (and international) legends to the spotlight, with headliner DJ JNETT leading the charge, supported by EMMYK & Tilly, Brad Mayes, and of course the Ashwash founders themselves - Shish B2B Lippo. A Secret International Guest will be joining the crew for an hour of underground, funky gems. Furthermore, to kickstart the evening will be Flow Motion - a jazz & funk jam session that regularly takes place on Thursday nights at Kindred.

Let's talk about the headliner. DJ JNETT.

DJ JNETT has played alongside the likes of Black Coffee, Theo Parrish, Floating Points, Keinemusik, Dom Dolla & Peggy Gou. She’s performed on some of the biggest stages in the southern hemisphere including the Sidney Myer Bowl, The Forum and the Sydney Opera House, as well as local festivals such as Pitch Music & Arts, Beyond the Valley, Sugar Mountain & Boiler Room, Splendour in the Grass, Meredith & Golden Plains Festival. Expect DJ JNETT to take you on an adventurous sonic journey through mind bending rhythms, soul thumping melodies and heavy hitting basslines that showcase the best of house, deep house, techno, funk, soul, disco, dub, reggae, and hip hop.

Whilst we can't tell you much about our Secret International Guest, just know that the Ashwash founders could not be more keen for this. Expect unique track selection, expect some steezy underground grooves, and expect to move your booty,

Based in Naarm/Melbourne, EMMYK & Tilly are renowned for their dynamic and adventurous sounds that effortlessly blend funky, groovy, and deep tracks, ensuring every performance captivates and keeps the crowd moving. This dynamic duo has carved out a prominent place in the local music scene, securing coveted sets and residencies at Naarm/Melbourne’s most esteemed venues including Revolver, Electric, Glamorama, New Guernica, Circus, Bloom and Captain. Their consistency on the club circuit has paid dividends as they recently played at Strawberry Fields’ 15th anniversary edition and have been booked for the second year of A3 Festival! They have also showcased their skillful mixing with notable releases such as a mix for Area 3000’s ‘Ryheem Invites’ and appearance's on ‘Tilt Shift’s’ weekly live stream at New Guernica, as well as 'House Plant' from Eora/Sydney. EMMYK & Tilly’s rapid ascent has seen them share the stage with an impressive array of international and local artists including Audiojack, S.A.M., Wax’o Paradiso, Black Loops, Fantastic Man, Barbara Boeing, Dee Digs, and Loods.

Brad Mayes is a House music DJ with an eclectic edge, bringing a unique blend of sounds to every set. Having supported artists from Folamour to Claptone to Patrick Topping at venues & events like Revolver, New Guernica, and Pitch Music & Arts Festival, he's built a reputation for energy and versatility. With Brad, you can always expect the unexpected. 

Shish B2B Lippo are the founding duo of Ashwash, and you bet they'll be beaming with a smile from the moment their set begins. Being best mates for 20 years, the duo embrace playing B2B and have an enormous amount of fun doing so. Expect house music, disco slappers, funky edits and don't be surprised if they whip out some garage or delve into the heavier side of the electronic spectrum.
