This Sunday Session at the Wesley Anne will feature three artists, all unique and different from each other, giving audience members a wonderful opportunity to see and hear a broad range of music in a familiar, comfortable and welcoming setting that is the Wesley Anne Band Room. Two sets will be performed (with a short intermission), where each artist will perform a short selection of their music before making way for the next artist, allowing the audience to experience all the talent on offer.

The Age described David Cosma as having the "full-bodied croon pairing the silken wryness of Elvis Costello and the gravel of Bob Dylan”.

Inspiring lyrics accompanied by sumptuous melodies and harmonies, together with his unique method of playing the guitar (upside down aka southpaw), guarantees an impassioned live performance. His songs have a knack for examining commonplace and even trite circumstance and then magnifies their significance with a wry and at times ironic tone. His writing triggers instant attention from audience and listeners. Visit davidcosma.com.

Maisy Woodhouse is a 17 year old self taught multi instrumentalist/songwriter and actor from Naarm/Melbourne. Over the last 4 years she has had lead roles in two of her school musicals, ‘Adams family musical’ & ‘legally blonde’. In 2024 she released her 1st album “bones“, full of lyrics wise beyond her years, Prose of maturity and rich metaphor. Maisy's album, Bones is available on Spotify and YouTube.

Matt Roberts is a bit of a chameleon. He released two singer-songwriter albums for Sound Vault Records in 2002 (The Ruby Record) and 2005 (Now You Are Gone). As Mount Disappointment Light Opera Company he recorded the first act of rock operetta Grand Tour (2017) and electro-acoustic lockdown concept album Rainbird (2021). These days Matt plays #therapiano Keith Jarrett-style piano improvisations, composes #haikotherapy photo-haiku and recites poetry as @j4zzd0c on YouTube and TikTok. He also blogs www.mydoctorshandwriting.com and www.thenormalgrownup.com. This is his first gig under this name since 2011, and it will draw on all of the above. Expect many colours.
