Stevenson’s Rockets now in their 23rd year, are led by clarinet/saxophone player extraordinaire Dr Jo Stevenson. The other members of this amazing quartet are multi-instrumentalist and sought-after jazz musician Steve Grant on piano, Syncopators’ leader Chris Ludowyk on bass, trombone and vocals and multi-instrumentalist Ian Smith on drums, trumpet, washboard and main vocals. The members have all performed on many of the world’s major jazz stages in their capacity as band leaders and performers in some of Australia’s prestigious jazz groups.
