Spy Fox Six, Naarm’s only counter-espionage indie rock band, launch their debut album at The Bergy Bandroom October 11th. Join Spy Fox Six for a rare matinee show to celebrate the launch of the album!

After a slew of singles channelling new wave, post rock and shoegaze vibes, Spy Fox Six release their debut album.  Spy Fox Six began with just an anime fox image, and an enigmatic bio:

Spy Fox Six is the sound of four friends that grew up listening to their parents
New Order, Cocteau Twins, and Kitchens of distinction records, then bonded over a shared love of The War on drugs, Four Tet and M83.”
Live shows however gave disclosure – musicians Christopher Sprake, Tim Cavanagh, Ruvith Abraham and Michael van Vliet had formed a jam band for fun post Covid lockdowns, which evolved into Spy Fox Six.

Joining Spy Fox Six to launch the album are special guests Lily Jones, The Ground Apples and DJ Steve Wide. Doors 1.30pm, tickets on sale now.

The audience is encouraged to dress up in their best spy costume!"

Naarm/Melbourne artist FELIVAND will bring her highly anticipated sophomore album my body's my true north to life across three intimate headline shows this September and October. Following the album's release on July 18, FELIVAND and her live band will perform at Eora/Sydney's The Vanguard (September 27), Naarm/Melbourne's Bergy Bandroom (October 11), and Meanjin/Brisbane's Black Bear Lodge (October 25).

my body's my true north finds FELIVAND at her most vulnerable and adventurous, crafting a body-led journey that trades thought for feeling. Created alongside collaborators including McClenney (Khalid, H.E.R), Austin Brown (Doechii, UMI), and Billy Lemos (SZA, Tinashe), the album is both cathartic and suave, transforming therapeutic breakthroughs into a compelling record that spans alternative R&B, alt-pop and indie-soul territories.

These album launch shows mark FELIVAND's first opportunity to share this deeply personal work in its full live form, promising an intimate experience that captures the raw conviction and emotional depth that defines her most liberated artistic statement yet.
