Since 2018, Sore Eyes have peddled their lazy bar band melodies around Melbourne town. With moonlighting members of Sacred Cowboys, Black Cab, Dumb Earth, Ron Peno and the Superstitions, Pony Face etc, each gig is an exploration of garage rock and psych songwriting and improvisation. Sore Eyes shows are rare and fleeting things ! Their second and last show for 2025 finds them back at the scene of formative gigs, the salubrious Brunswick Artists Bar playing 2 sets.

Emerging from Adelaide's western suburbs, this Manila-born singer will be returning to BABs, and the rest of the coast, once again to celebrate her new sound. 

With her full band in tow, Sofia Menguita has taken on a different, more pop-pier edge, and leans further into her roots of desire and traditional unfiltered honesty. 

Inspired by the day-to-day experiences, witty exchanges, and story-driven melodies of artists such as Bic Runga and The 1975, Sofia pours her heart out to create her very own sonic universe; earning her support slots with Australia's hottest Egoism, Esha Tewari, and The Tullamarines, as well as Manila's favourites Sunkissed Lola and Silent Sanctuary.

This coming August, Sofia will be joined by some of Melbourne's indie darlings - Nathan Vega and Stella Hannagan.
